Beach Ball
Beach Ball is a community-created map for the Brawl Ball event. The map features two large and long bush pathways with walls guarding only two corners. The sides have elongated and less rectangular bush clusters. The goal entrances have more open space, but they are only two tiles wide. The map is diagonally symmetrical.
Here are some tips for playing on this map:
Medium-ranged Brawlers like Nita are highly effective on this map. They can target close-ranged Brawlers from a distance and dominate against long-ranged Brawlers. Their versatility and strong health make them formidable against various types of Brawlers.
Jacky's ability to attack around walls may be less crucial on this map due to the limited number of walls. However, her attack style remains viable. She can position herself behind the enemy goal barrier, if it is still intact, to support teammates in taking out remaining enemy Brawlers as they advance towards the goal. Her high health allows for more aggression in combat situations, making her valuable on offense.
Close-ranged Brawlers such as Rosa can utilize the bushes on either side of the map to advance towards the enemy goal undetected. Ambushing unsuspecting enemies in the bushes gives them a significant advantage in combat.
Wall barriers on this map do not provide much value and can be destroyed safely with Brawlers like Frank. However, keep in mind that if you have a Jacky teammate, destroying these walls may potentially weaken their ability to maneuver effectively.
Brawlers are more confined to the bush pathways rather than the open areas of the map. Utilize high-spread Brawlers like Pam and Emz to apply pressure on enemies and force them out of their positions.
Assign heavyweights to the left lane, fighters to the center lane, and sharpshooters/support Brawlers to the right lane. Heavyweights should navigate carefully around the bushes and advance into the barrier bushes once enemies in that area are dealt with.
Sprout can use its Super to block enemy grass, forcing them to take alternate routes and making it harder for them to score. This strategy also removes bushes from the enemy side, reducing their chances of successfully ambushing you.
Throwers like Tick or Dynamike can push enemies out of the grass and away from their goal, helping your team advance towards the opposing goal.
Squeak's Residue gadget can be strategically placed in front of the grass near the ball, making it harder for enemies to take the ball and giving your teammates an advantage. It can also be used in other choke points to slow down enemies.
